It hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth doing is easy, right? When we started planning the opening of our new venue – there were a few obstacles. This all started with a vision, one that would see more kids having fun, more people connecting, more people getting away from the troubles of every-day life, more ‘grown-ups’ getting a break from the serious stuff – more people having some serious FUN – and experiencing Silent Disco for themselves.
This vision was held by Our Director, Paul, he knew that creating a space for people to come and have an unforgettable experience, a leave-your-troubles-at-the-door kind of place, was what we needed to do, it was inevitable, so he set about finding the right location to host kids parties and other silent events. He wanted to set up our very first venue in Victoria, with enough room to host lots of people at the one time. Paul searched tirelessly, inspection after inspection, day after day, for months, with a heart full of hope and a clear vision – and one day it happened. He walked into a warehouse in Moorabbin; and found the right fit!
Paul found a place that can host up to 150 people at a time, has ample parking, and has lots of space for different fun zones, and high ceilings. The last few months have been a matter of perfecting this space, to make this vision come to life. Your safety is our number one priority, and the floor of the warehouse was not as smooth as we would like (we know how much you love to dance at our Silent Kids Disco Parties!) – so last week we have had the entire floor re-surfaced and polished. We’ve been cleaning, scrubbing, painting, and bringing in all our hi-tech equipment – headphones, transmitters, and excursion props, for storage and easy access. We have been building shelves, setting up lighting and piecing together our LED Light up dance floor (have you seen it yet, its so cool, here’s a link, to make sure the space reflects our high standards and is going to give you, whose opinion we value above all others – a WOW factor.
If you follow us on Facebook, or Instagram, you probably would have seen some of the ‘coming soon’ messages leading up to the opening of our venue, and we are thrilled to announce we are now open for bookings! Our new Silent Glow Party Venue is open; and we can’t wait for you to come down and check it out. While there is no other venue like ours offering children’s entertainment in the world – our new amazing space will be a hub of activity hosting all age silent birthday parties, corporate team building events, corporate family days, wedding receptions, bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, school excursions, special days, and so much more. All our silent disco services will be available for you to book, in this space – so you have so much choice when you wish to create something special, for your child, your workplace, your sporting club, or yourself.
